Founded 20 years ago The Community Preschool of the Palisades has met the needs of families with small children in our tight knit neighborhood. We are the meeting place for mothers? groups, Yoga, the Jung Society of Washington and The Palisades School of Music.
With monthly reports from ministries and non-profits from the greater metropolitan area we stay informed of the vital services that each of these groups provide our community. Our membership is also involved in such diverse community outreach as gleaning, Habitat for Humanity, SPANCO, Washington Interfaith Network, Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, Miriam's Kitchen, Martha's Table, So That Others May Eat, Gospel Rescue Mission, Covenant House, Palisades Citizens Association, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Fund, Liberian Interchurch Council, Alice Lloyd College and the 9/11 Unity Walk.
