All Are Welcome

The Palisades Community Church was founded 84 years ago when a couple of families decided that there was nothing for their children in the neighborhood. They called a community meeting and the idea of beginning a local Sunday School took off. Since the neighbors were from 11 different denominations they feared that it would be too competitive to make it merely one particular denomination. So, they decided to have a Community Church to which everyone would be welcome. As one of the founders stated, “Let us have a church in which everybody will be welcome. For all bring the best from our heritage?” As our Spiritual Identity Vision Statement proclaims, “Our diversity is our unity!” We are an independent, post-denominational church that welcomes all into our family.
